You can get a flat iron also called straightening iron. It looks just like a woman's curling iron. I have very curly thick and very long hair and like to make my hair straight. I also use a product called pink lotion when I straighten my hair with the flat iron and it makes it smooth as silk. The pink lotion or also called Pink Oil Moisterizer is under different brands and is an African American product. I'm white and it works very well on my hair. I even use it when I come out of the shower instead hair gels and all of that stuff now. Just use a little. It's awesome and costs about 3 dollars:)

Well..It depends on where you are actually going to study at,and what kind of schedule you would be having going on,and how long the part time job that you get would actually go onto, and so on,and so forth..Good luck..

My daughter is studying right now to be a Hait Stylist. She loves it. She goes to school 5 days a week, And whatever clients she makes while in school will most likely follow her when she graduates. Its great if you stick with it. Good Luck!

Hmmm... hair dressing classes. Never heard of that put that way. Cosmetology is what we call it here. Sounds a little more professional to me too. I am a cosmetologist and absolutely hate it when someone calls me a hair dresser...
Either way good luck with your venture!

Hi dazza,
I do see this was your first and last participation with myLot. I see what you were pursing and do hope you were successful with it. Cosmetology school can be very rewarding and very satisfying.
I hope you accomplished this as it is still to date in high demand. Best of luck to you.
