favourite Japanese dish?

What is your favourite japanese dish? I was told that japanese dishes are all raw. The first thing that came into my head was raw fish whenever people talked about it. Until I went for japanese cuisine one day, I realised that there are lot of cooked food as well. I like japanese food ever since that day and started going for japanese food often. One of the dishes that I like the most is the octopus. I don't know what they call it. It is red in color and with some sesame seeds ontop and it is served cold. I think the japanese food here in my country is not so origin, so, must really go to Japan one day and taste the food there.
