Do you let people disprespect you?

Do you let people disrespect you for no reason? Do you ignore them and walk away? Or do you get with them into a fight? I never ever let someone disrespect me for no reason, except when I'm absolutely KNOW they are joking. There is no way i'm walking away pretending I didn't hear it. Would you just walk away?
