Thanks Madhu for the kind words. I was shell shocked by the news. sometime we never think that some of us would vanish just like that.

I am very sorry for your loss and your regret.
it can be hard to sit and regret when a person has past. Because we are not able to make that time up that we regret loosing. But if it helps, I believe that person knows after they have past.
Do I keep in touch with school friends?
I have one that I have talked to now and again. We don't talk every day...it is more of an email here and there. And I have heard from friends online from time to time. But we have all moved on in different areas of our lives. It is more of a check in with the person to see where they are at and how they are doing.
Other than that, no, I do not really talk everyday with past school friends.

i think in this fast moving world we are not spending time for our friends as we should be also in old times it was difficult to contact opld friends who were far due to lack of communication tools but now with the advance of the communication tools we are not in touch with friends as we should be ..hope people stay in touch with eachother seeing this thread..

First of all sorry for your lost, I would feel the same to find out somebody that was close to me at one point in time has passed away.
Eventhough It's kind a hard to do as I don't livin my home country anymore. I still keep in touch with my best friend from high school through email and text. I also try to meet everytime I go home to my home town. It's hard sometimes as I only go home once a year for max one month but we always try to at least meet once...xx

I keep in touch with a handful and it is hard work. Some are better at it then others, and it is easiest to stay in touch with people with email. I live a long way away from my 'old' friends, and those who I have to stay in contact with by phone and regular mail don't hear from me that often. At best, I manage a Christmas card.
