Yes you are. And Amanda is great. She will go far if that is what she wants. I would love to get photos like these! Maybe i could find a class and get better at them. A better camera would help, too I guess.

HP.com has free classes available. My daughter is currently using a Sony digital that was only about $100.00 at Walmart. She has been learning how to use the different settings to get different effects. If you would like to see more of her work, go to the Photography interests group.

Ok, obviously I got lost myself. There are one or two of her photos in other interest groups like Children.

I find the photo distracting. Your eyes are drawn to the pills but they are too dark to hold your interest for long. The words I'm OK are off in the lower left hand corner of the photo. Moe vibrant colors or some dark pills. the pills seem like they should be brightly colored but they are dreary and dark. If you use pills that had a dark color and changed the background it might be a better photo. A photo web site she might be interested in is www.dpreview.com shich is a site for professional photographers, but it is very good for those who love the hobby of photography. Some very good forums and very good discussion of equiptment and ideas.

I like the composition, but the photo seems a little dark and out of focus. That can easily be cleared up with any kind of photo editing software. I use Gimp and it's free. Your daughter might be interested in a site that I frequent called Wetcanvas. They have a photography section and will critique and comment on her pictures and give great advice. There are many expert photographers there. In fact, there is someone there that does the exact type of photos that your daughter does and makes a living by it. Here's the link: http://www.wetcanvas.com She won't get points or money, but she can make good friends there.
