I honestly don't eat much rice , it's not that I don't like it its just I don't buy a lot of it , I love potatoes though all kinds of potatoes , I love turnip and potatoes boiled together drained and mashed together with a knob of butter , that is my favourite dish , that with corned beef and beetroot yummy xxxx

I have lots of potatoes and rice in my kitchen right now.
They are a great source of carbohydrates and I would not be without as least one of them for long.
Personally, I am a potato lover and have probably cooked them every way possible by now.
That would always be my first choice.

I like both, and i'll cook them both, but not for the same meal. One time we'll have fish and rice, the next night, chicken and potatoes. Often in restaurants, the plates come with potatoes and rice, which isn't good, since these are two sources of carbs. But anyhow, if they ask me to choose, i'll go for the potatoes.

I think I eat equal amounts of potatoes and rice. I really enjoy mashed, hash browns, and scalloped potatoes, but we tend to have a lot of baked, because they're so convenient. I cook quite a lot of varieties of rice as well, depending on what else we're having. I like to do one dish meals involving rice. If I am given the choice in a restaurant, I'll listen to all of the different types, and then make my decision based on the type. Oh, I forgot to mention, if roast potatoes are an option, I'll usually choose them.

I like both, but I prefer potatos. I know if I'm out I'll get the potatos because so often I don't know what is in the rice. At the Persian resturant I like I get their sour cherry rice, since I've been told in no uncertain terms that they don't use corn products.

I love rice. I guess that is because I eat rice since I have born. I also enjoy potatoes. Usually when I go to a restaurant they serve potatoes, but that’s because in Portugal people enjoy potatoes more then rice. But in Brazil rice is like the country food. Everyone eats rice in Brazil.

Though rice is a staple food, I never like rice. I prefer potatoes. whenever I go to any restaurant, it is always fries or baked potatoes for me. If my partner is will me, it will be rice because he will polish up my share of rice.
