Today i had a funny experience on the bus while i was on the way to my friends place which is about one hour journey. Most of the times i feel sleepy while traveling alone on the bus or taxi, but today i even had a dream in which i woke up crying. Actually i had a scary dream that some was chasing me and in the dream i jumped from my window of my room and thats when i woke up crying. I was really impressed and the longest journey too as everybody seems to be looking at me after that. Anyway do you guys here have such experience?

They have made it illegal where I live to sleep on the train. A friend of mine fell asleep on the train on his way home from work and got a ticket for $200.00. Now he stands so that he won't fall asleep again.

Yes ratburn, the mayor calls it his "quality of life" campaign. If I am tired on the train I will stand up too. What's the worse that could happen if I fall asleep standing up, I'll fall down, it sure beats getting a ticket. LOL

I only doze off when I'm on the bus or on the train. I'm still perfectly aware of my surroundings, so I sleep lightly. Besides, I'm quite uncomfortable having to sleep in a public vehicle or mode of transportation. I'm so amazed at you having to dream like that. Perhaps you were so tired, so you really had a deep sleep. Just an advise, next time be sure that you would just take a nap, or let's say, a light sleep, because it could be dangerous to be sleeping and having to wake up without our belongings with us! Hehe. That's a funny experience, though. Happy myLotting!

I have not taken a bus or a taxi in a long time. I would not fall asleep on the taxi as they may drive you all over the place without you knowing it and run up a huge bill on you. I would probably sleep on the bus depending on how long the ride would be to my destination. The longer the bus ride the more likely I would fall asleep.

No...i never fell asleep while travelling on taxi or buses.i feel it's not so safe.somebody might steal your valuable things.or they might take advantage on you without you realising.never practise sleeping on public transports.even if i travel in my friend's car i wouldn't fall asleep either.i do not understand why others can fall asleep so easy in buses.i do not feel it comfortable for sleeping since the bus keep on moving and turning.

as much as possible i try to take an hour sleep on the bus. its because i live far away from the city. so i have some time to sleep for awhile. taxi? i dont even dare to try. taxi drivers are abusive as well, especially those who havent reach their quotas yet.. no way, stay awake while riding with a taxi cab..

I used to travel daily by busto my office. It takes about1 hour during normal time and even more during a trffic jam. Generally I sleep during this period, it is a good rest for me. But I have a bad habit of snoring during my sleep, even while I sit and sleep in a bus. This normally irritates some fellow passengers. Hence I try to avoid sleepng but in vain!

No, I don't sleep on the buses and taxis. I'm really amazed that someone can do that. I feel like someone is going to steal something from me if I were to fall asleep. I don't even like to sleep in the car while someone else is driving. I have a hard time sleeping anyway.

I have slept on a greyhound bus. It was a really long trip -- something like 9 hours. I slept upright, clutching my purse the whole time. I also usually fall asleep on an airplane, even if it is only a short trip. Something about all that humming/buzzing noise of the engines that soothes me.
I've never had a bad dream while traveling, though! I imagine that it is very trying when you wake up. Usually after I have a bad dream I'm restless, but you couldn't really go anywhere on a moving bus.

If I am tired or have nothing to do, I will. After all, it is a good time to rest and recuperate. Of course, this is provided I have enough space - would be quite hard to sleep easy if it is too crowded and people are asking you to move every now and then. :P

yes, when travelling on bus or taxi,I will sleep or else it is boredom on the trip and sleeping can make me relax and get strength, then after reaching the destination,I will be more spiritual.

I sleep on the school bus but I don't take public buses and taxis enough to fall asleep on them. When riding the bus you probably shouldn't because someone could steal something from you while you are sleeping.

I sleep whenever I travel by bus or car. I usually go back to my hometown every weekend. The journey takes about 4 hours. Therefore, there's nothing much to do except sleeping. Besides that, by sleeping, you'll feel that the journey takes shorter time :) However, I dare not sleep in taxi because it's dangerous especially if you are a woman.

Sleeping in public vehicle is the one thing I can't do no matter how sleepy I am. i just have this intuition that something might go wrong or there is someone in the vehicle that a bit maniac or psychopat.
Plus I don't really feel comfortable relaxing in the bus or taxi.

i'd usually sleep on the bus if i am travelling in a far place, somewhere like 8-10 hours travel. i make sure that i'd bring a pillow and blanket with me so that i'd be more comfortable. so far, i haven't had a dream just like yours.
but if i'd travel somewhere and i am not familiar, i don't sleep longer like i usually do. i'd just take naps along the way because i might end up somewhere else.

People who are sleep deprived normally fall asleep while riding a vehicle for a long trip. Or, it could be the comfort of sitting inside the vehicle that makes one sleepy. I am guilty of it too. But yours is kinda scary, dreaming while riding a vehicle. So far, as far as I remember, I have not dreamt of anything whenever I fall asleep while riding a bus or taxi.

I always sleep on buses. It makes the time go quicker and I can catch up on some sleep.
