Well as all my friends know that I have been quite busy with my husband not feeling great of late and me on mylot as I am addicted to this forum site, as I have met some wonderful friends here but yesturday I thought it would be lovely to take some time out of my day and go and see the main city of Sydney, and especially to see our youngest daughter oh it was a lovely day we all enjoyed ourselves and caught up with her and we had an open conversation about our lives and what our daughter is going to do in regards to her personal life. So yesturday was a great day to learn more about our daughter and what she will be doing with her life, so remember to spend time with your family and enjoy their company, as family is special to me and should be to you too!!

Spending time with family is very important. It is the moment you let them feel how they are important and mean to you. I remember the days when i was young, when we always ask our mom to not to go to work because we want to spend time with her ( all the time) because she is so busy in her work as a nurse. Although, we dont have a nanny, being the eldest, I stand as a parent also to my younger siblings, especially to our youngest sister when my mom is away. Btw, my mom is a single parent and we understand that it's not easy to be like her. It's a very tough task and responsibilty.

Kathy,
I'm so happy that you and the hubby had a good day...Making memories is the name of the game..
My family means alot to me but sometimes when I fall sick for days I feel like a distance falls between us...I feel bad about the fact that I can not keep up with their active lives..
Hugs Sweetie

That must have been a very special day for you Kathy, seeing your daughter and spending quality time together. Good for you. We all get caught up in our own every day stuff, but it does us the world of good to break away and spend time with family and/or friends.
Our daughter called us from the States this morning (she said she just needed to hear our voices), and we spoke to our grandchildren too; the call lasted almost two hours, but we all needed that time to speak to each other, and it was great. She felt a lot happier at the end of it, and we did too. We should never neglect family - they are the most precious thing we have.
I'm glad you brought this discussion up - it may just jolt some of us into getting our priorities right!
