Many a times, both at home and at work, we tend to lose our cool and get provoked. One of the easiest and very effective way to save the situation is to start counting 1,2,3,4,...,10 (upto to ten) slowly. If required start from 10 to 1 again slowly. This really takes the wind off the sail and helps to cool your tempers.

Well most of the time I have a great power of tolerance!! So I get angery very easily but hardly shows it!! but when things go out of limits I just burst and yell at the person who is responsible for it!! Because sometimes people do need to get them showed their place where they basically stand and wats their worth actually is! So get angry according to the situation by seeing both the results of it!!

well its just .. 1.you can stop listening to him/her. 2.go away from there but firmly like you have some other work to do. 3.try to analyise is he/she that much capable of "your" anger (because we get angry from them who we consider ours and they have the power to disturbe us.)who gave them this power...!!?? just think you are the above them just in case of anger. 4. you cannot lose your precious energy on such stupid useless things like anger. 5.or jsut change the topic. 6.and at last try to figure out the main thig wat is the problem basically is comming from ,try finding its roots ,solve them oraly first time. and next ...Well im not the professional but can help you till a extend!! lol!!

with the nature of my job, working in a call center, I can't the situation in where I get callers who are screaming at me and being totally angry at me, and they begin questioning my capabilities, on the other hand, I keep my cool, by not listening to them whenver they say something bad to avoid myself from being sarcastic or to avoid me answering back to thier angst. I let them finish first and then I will just continue with what I can do

Well! I understand your situation. I really pity you. You need to exercise utmost patience while you are at work. The way you are tackling your customers' wrath / anger is praise-worthy. Keep your cool - ALWAYS. All the best.

well the best option is to breathe... that really helps... i usually just walk off and scream and shout where nobody can hear me... that way i vent all my anger and nobody gets hurt either... :)

Yes, your option is also very good. What ever may be the ways, we need to see the objective (overcoming anger) is achieved. Well! Have a good day.
