How did he Propose???

My fiance bought me a pretty beta and put the ring at the bottom of the fish bowl. I didnt even notice it at first I was looking and was like what is this then turned around and he was on one knee. It was really sweet.

My husband proposed to me on his birthday, when we went for a night cruise around Manhattan. I seriously had no clue, as he always told me that he did not believe in marriage, and because we already had one son together and no ring. Well, we are sitting on this nice cruise boat, and we are eating dinner by the candle light, drinking champagne and eating a nice dinner. He even remembered to order vegetarian food ahead of time:) All of a sudden, I hear him begin talking about his emotions, something which he usually never does, and there it came - will you mary me? He did not have a ring as we were both in school, and he did not get down on his knees, but it was a very nice proposal, and although I have always told him that I did not want an engagement ring, he still ended up getting me one. We have now been married for almost two years, we have two sons and we have moved back and forward between Europe and the United States a few times.

well he just told me... over the phone... :P coz we haven't even met till now... but he promised that he would propose properly when he meets me in some months!! :)

this is terrible i cant really remember...i know that he asked my kids permission to marry me though and i thought that was very sweet... i guess it was just a kind of taken for granted thing....congrats to your friend
