Do you count your calory intake?
You count it for every meal or for the whole day?
How many calories a person is supposed to take daily?
How much do you take daily?
What do you think is better?Eating right and doing exercise,or,reducing your diet and no workouts.

The requirment of specific caloories depends upon the type of work one does in the day or in routine.
in normal sit in chair job for normal phisique needs close to 1500 callories.
The callorie consciousness should be accompanied with the whole all vitamin proof food content is an essential thing to care as well I think.
I do care my meal from both the aspects in general and some times loose the control on occasions and never otherwise.
a normal walk for 8 kms is enough for a day as an exercise and no more stressing of body is needed according to my opinion.
Wish you all the happy & healthy life.

Calorie intake should be proportionate to the amount of phycal requirement and the work one does.A very good aspect mentioned by you oarnamav.
I walk not more than 3-4 kms everyday.8 kms is too good.
But I do yoga in the morning. That refreshes and makes me feel quite active for the whole day.
Thanks for the good wishes and wish you the same

The right calory would depend on the body weight of a person and body metabolism. It should be around 25-30 calories per kg of bodyweight. So,if I am 70 Kg ,then the right daily calory intake for me would be around 1750 calories perday if my body has a normal metabolism.
No,I don't really count my calory intake at the end of each day. It's only if I start gaining weight,I watch my calory intake.

We do not count calories at all but are careful what we eat most of the time. For example, we do eat a lot of fruit, mostly fresh but sometimes our own preserved fruit. Also vegetables and even when I am away from home truck driving, I have taken my meals with me. They always include some sort of vegetables and only need to be reheated.
Also I take my own breakfast cereal, so that means not buying some sort of fatty foods. I get out of my truck and take a walk around it every few hours, just to stretch my legs and refresh but it is also part of my exercises that I do. When I park for the night, I will go for a bit of a walk, depending where I am and who else is around. I might only run fast for about 20 or so minutes but it all helps.
When I am home, we work on our small farm which is a lot of hard yakka. Then of an evening we will go for a walk around the block. So you see, eating as well as you can, avoiding sweet and/or fatty thing plus some exercise is how you keep your weight in check. Some people will count calories, but it isn't really necessary unless you do not exercise or eat heaps of junk/sweet/fatty foods.

My ancesters didn't know about calories, let alone count them..so I figure since I eat plenty fine, and I'm a pretty active person..I don't need to. So..in short, I could care less about what food has what calories.
In any case, I figure the better thing is eat right AND keep active. I mean, that's what people did before they realized calories existed and only ate things that factories make.

I used to count my calory intake when I was watching my weight and working out more frequently, however I started to just realise that some foods are better for you than others, and it's not really rocket science to sort them out. The one bigger change i've made recently is with my lunches, I used to get supermarket sandwiches and would have no choice but to have mayonaise in them, however now, I get my sandwiches made up at the local bakery which means that they are fresher and healthier. I still watch the types of foods that I eat and maintain my fruit and veg intake but i don't count every calory. We burn calories just being alive so as long as we don't over enduldge too often we should be fine.

No, i've enver counted them, i usually try to stick to eating whenever i'm hungry. I reckon that the amount of calories a person should have daily varies from person to person as we all have different metabolisms and lifestyles, so i don't take too much notice.

I have found that what works best for me is weight watchers. You don't have to count calories, just points and after being off it you know around how much you can eat in a day without going over and gaining weight. I hate counting calories because at times I can be a bit compulsive about it, and that is never good IMHO.
I also walk alot, this works great in conjunction to a good diet:)
