Oh, these are fun too!!!! :) 1. What are/were your plans for Easter this year? Actually, I am a different religion, so we do not celebrate Easter. 2. What does Easter mean to you? It is a day of celebration for those that are Christian or a derivative of it. 3. What was Easter like for you as a child? Not much...my father couldn't afford to do anything...there were a couple of times that we colored a few eggs because my brother was living with us and he whinned until my father agreed. 4. What is your favorite kind of easter egg? Boiled and colored purple. :) 5. Did Easter Bunny bring you anything this year? Nope! Where can I write to complain? ha ha 6. Are hot cross buns a traditional food in your home at Easter? What are Hot Cross Buns? Seriously....are those the honey buns that come in plastic wrap at the gas station? Or is that something totally different? I have always wondered. :) 7. Have you ever participated in an easter egg hunt? A couple times in my life. But they were not all that. My brothers ruined it by being mean and greedy.

1. What are/were your plans for Easter this year? As always, we will have a mellow day. We don't attend a church right now but we will read a scripture, remember the reason for the day and enjoy baskets and a ham dinner. 2. What does Easter mean to you? Easter means the resurrection of Jesus to save our souls and open the doors of heaven to us. It's a definite day of celebration with a bitter sweet reason. 3. What was Easter like for you as a child? I was an "only child" for 10 years. I would literally wake up to a good 10 baskets to find!!!! I have a picture of me when I was about 5 or so surrounded with baskets! LOL Oddly enough I wasn't a spoiled child though. Honest! I was always the one that gave everyone else stuff and enjoyed helping others. 4. What is your favorite kind of easter egg? I love the reese peanut butter eggs 5. Did Easter Bunny bring you anything this year? He did! I got a new purse that my oldest daughter helped him pick out because she has a job now and loves to help with gifts! I also got a bunny from a local chocolatier, a ceramic bunny that is sitting in a rocker with a mug and a blankie that my mum gave me and I share the goodies in our big family basket. 6. Are hot cross buns a traditional food in your home at Easter? Nope. I've seen them often and always think I should do that.. but never do! LOL 7. Have you ever participated in an easter egg hunt? I used to head the Easter Egg hunt for the Twins Mothers Club locally. I never went to one as a kid, that I remember, but I've taken my kids to many and helped have the hunts with different organizations.

We attended Sunrise services at church, then spent the day together. Easter means "Happy Resurrection Day" to me, as that's the day our Lord and Savior was resurrected. Easter was always fun as a child with all the baskets and egg hunts.
