I want to be cremated as I dont want to be buried and eaten by maggots. I think cremated is a nice clean way of disposing of my remains.

First off, I'm truly sorry to hear about your cousin. Cremation is the way to go. It's not cheap, however it does cost less.I wouldn't want to leave any financial burden on my family. Even with life insurance, I still would like to be cremated. They can use insurance money on other things.

I think it is a personal decision that everyone should make. I dont think that anything could have maded the little girl look at her mom in the casket. She could have stipulated she did not want to have a viewing and then there would be no one viewing the body. It is very sad that a lady with a child that young had to die and I am sorry for your loss.

i would rather be cremated myself when i die. but my husband says that that is not going to happen. he wants me to be buried next to him when we die. that kind of makes me sad because he would go against my wishes. i personally think that cemetaries are kind of a waste of space. eventually there is going to be no room to bury anyone. so i want to do my part by being cremated.
