Slot machine "switch"

How many of you think there is a switch in a slot machine to make it "hit"? I can't believe how often I'm asked to flip the switch so someone can win. I hate to burst anyone's bubble, but there is no switch or any other device that I or anyone can throw for the machine to start paying off. It's all a matter of luck and timing.

My youngest son is disabled , many years ago we went on a bus touring holiday to wales and in the hotel we stayed at the people who owned it became very fond of my son . a few days before we left the said if he won the jackpot they would go halves with him , the night we left the owner winked at me and then as if by a miracle he won the jackpot , we still say to this day the hotel owner knew what to do to make it win , xx
