I had a funny feeling about this match ever since I started watching the previews. I thought GSP wasn't taking the possiblility of an upset as serious as he should have. I really think deep down inside he thought it was going to be a cake walk, as did everybody else (including me). I know GSP was saying he was going to train hard and wasn't going to take Serra lightly, but honestly, I think that is exactly what he did. I had a funny feeling about what was going to happen. I'm very surprised of the outcome, but in some ways not.
It could also have been a case where it just wasn't GSP's night.
This is what I think will happen now. Hughes will have a title shot. GSP will have to win his next fight for another title shot. I think it will be the winner between Hughes-Serra VS GSP-Koscheck.
I was rooting for Koscheck to beat Sanchez.
I really hope GSP will bounce back. He'll have that title back soon.

Koshchecks last fight was pretty lame against deigo if he had of put in a better performance yes but the two of them danced around the ring neither really doing anything to win the maych decisively.
Still think GSP vs Hughs winner taking on serra for title.

Man that was disappointing! Serra caught George and then took his time and knocked him out very calmly. My hats off to Matt, he looked very calm and never rushed even when he had St. Pierre hurt.
The Deigo/Josh fight was so boring it was a waste and to me no one really won, they shouldn't get paid for a fight like that.
The two best fights were the Kendall Grove fight (he's awesome) and the Luke Kumo/Josh haynes fight( which they only showed because the belt fight wsa so short. Kendall has dominated in almost all his fights but is always under estimated. As for Luke, I wasn't even sure if he was still fighting, but he took apart Haynes. I think its time for Haynes to look for a new line of work.

yeah the Deigo/Josh fight was really boring they should of just held hands and danced theer ewas more hitting at the weigh in than the fight. I think GSP would of been ok if he had of not to me what looked like a slip after that it was all serra. I was hoiping that woudl fo gone atleast 2 rounds.

For unavoidable reasons, i did not catch the Koscheck-Sanchez fight and GSP-Serra match though i learned from my brother that Serra had an upset win while Koscheck beat Sanchez by a close margin.
I do find the Okami-Swick match funny (i was laughing at Swick's predicament but i sure don't want to be in his position either) as Okami had Swick mounted and pounded for so long yet did'nt seal the match with it and i thought the Huerta-Garcia match very exciting as they go toe to toe in a slugfest.
All in all worth the ppv price.

I didn't see the fights but just read the re-cap on ufc.com. I could not believe that Serra TKO'd GSP. I thought for sure GSP would dominate him...but that's why they have the fights. Now it makes Hughes-Serra more interesting.
Also was surprised to read Kos beat Sanchez. Thought Sanchez would put on another clinic but Kos has been improving. 170 is staying a very competitive weight class.
