Would you like to be cremated when you die?

My Uncle, who died due to cancer of esophagus, told his family before the died that he wanted to be cremated. He was in the US with his family when he died. He wanted half of the ashes to with his family and the other half to be sent over here in the Philippines. Personally, I think I would do the same thing if ever I would be leaving the country and be migrating to other country. I would also like half of my ashes to be sent to my parents and the other half to be kept by my own family. Otherwise, I would not allow it to be cremated. Instead, I will ask my family to have my body be of use by letting other people use it for scientific studies. :) DO you think it's also a good idea? How about you? Would you also like to be remated when you die? :)
