I'm the eldest one, and only have one brother. So we take care each other, nothing differences between us, because my parents give same attention.
The good point being the eldest maybe only experience became the only child (at first) and get 100% attention in a one year (my brother one year younger than me), but nothing special after that.
So.. I think.. being eldest or youngest is the same for me, because we have our own responsibility and should take care each other even you are youngest doesn't mean that you more spoil than the elder.

I am the youngest and that works for me. It works because my parents won't overreact to what I do with my life the way they did to my sister's because her going overboard during her teen years has only served to pave the way for me! Nothing I do can possibly compete with what she did, so they really won't be able to have a real problem. As for her teen years, she survived, and we're all happy now, so whatever! LOL ;-)

I'm the eldest in the family and although there are times when you'd want to not have responsibilities and to not be the role model for your other siblings, I guess it gives me more pride to be the eldest. I like the responsibility and it makes me learn more things about life.

That is a hard one to decide about. I am the eldest of eight of us and my sister is the youngest and six brothers in between us. I did not like being the eldest cause always had to do everything for everyone and be in charge. My younger sister got by with everything she wanted too so don't know if that is good either. If you only have 2 kids then don't really matter who oldest or youngest.

I'm in both positions, depending on which batch my parents produced. I like being the baby. I get on much better with my older siblings and they always doted on my where my younger siblings are a bit lame. I don't have anything in common with them, and you know, being the oldest is all about responsiblity, examples, etc. Being the baby is better!

The youngest becuase I was the oldest and was alway being told to look after the young ones, set a good example and got into trouble for things that they had done because I should have been watching out that they didn't get into trouble.
