why did you name your dog what you did?

i always find it hard to name a pup or a stray that comes along. i try to find a name that fits them. the last one was named furby. he was a cute little pup that looked just like a furby doll when he was a pup. i miss him so much. he was an unwanted pup and i made him mine. he was so cute and loving and smart. he got ran over not long ago and it broke my heart. the one before that was named lucky cause he was the runt and hardly ever got to eat he was lucky he made it. i found him a good home along with all his brothers and sisters and even his mama. we have one that has just shown up and i dont know what to name him. he is pit and german shrp it looks like and he is a little skinny thing that is very shy and scared. i just dont know what to name him. right now he is just clicks cause that is what i do to him he comes over and i try to touch him and the tail goes between the legs and he cries. what did you name yours and why

When I brought home my new puppy, she showed to be quite pugacious from the start. She trotted around like she owned the place. Somebody had named her Marilyn. A Lab mix called that? I knew she was no Marilyn. One day, she got right in the face of my older dog and barked most sassily. (That a word? Nemind) I said to her, "You're a punk." In that instant, I knew her name was Punky.

i have a three month old yorkie, and her name is cocktail. i named her cocktail because i love a nice cocktail at the end of a work day. and now i get to have one every single day when i come home. she jumps up on me and we just sit and hang out. so now i just keep my other cocktails to the weekends
