Contrary to what I keep hearing, why do I even need anybody? After being married twice, and married for 19 yrs total, and being in misery the whole time,I am so happy, and content, after being alone for the last ten years! Who said you have to be with somebody? It's not that I don't have friends, I am popular, because I have my own band,I work at an office where I deal with the public on a daily basis! I'm a fairly decent conversationalist! I just don't feel that you have to "be" with somebody, like everybody says you do! I don't feel lonely, because I interact with everyone, I help them, guide them, console them, share with them, and advise them! I just don't feel that it was necessary to have persevered in maintaining a relationship all those years! Yes, I have many acquaintences that I interact with, but no intimate relatioships! And I am not reluctant to open the door to this discussion!

Yes,I think its time to stop worrying about it, and accept the idea that some people are just happier,"relying" on the relationship of another! I appreciate your supportive response, hoping this discussion will hold value, to others that can use this information!

Hey, there is no law that says you have to be in a relationship. hahaha
From what I just read, you are a very happy person and you don't have to be married or in an intimate relationship to be where you are right now.
It sounds to me like you have been there and done that and it is not meant to be for you, at least not now....like the saying goes, Never say never. haha
You said you have a band? What type of music does your band play?

Thank you, I'm surprised that there are others that are supportive of the statement I made! For a moment I thought I was "on an island all by myself"! Now I can feel good, about the way I feel!
Oh, I started playing music when I was 15, in the sixties! And started playing that music in bands then! Then in the seventies, I went to country, and had my own bands then! In the eighties, I went into soul,Jazz, and blues,! In the nineties, I got interested in Tejano, and Golden Oldies but goodies, music! Needless to say, the bands that I have had,can play a total variety of music! To me I love all music. I enjoy meeting, and talking to people, and exchanging ideas, especially about music!

Sound like you are set in your ways, you have been married twice? don't base you relationships on the women you had, maybe you will find someone that you really want to be with. It is nice to have a companion.
