I would be afraid of the baby being born and suffering, so I would pray that the baby be healed in the womb. If the baby was born with this defect, I would get the child the best care possible and be the best mother that I can be to my precious little one.

i think you have got a problem like this .i would why a defect arise.let me just tell you that who ever has created you,he created you from a single cell ,allowed you to grow in your mothers womb or 10 months ,from a small cell developed multiple cell developed your heart your lungs ,your kidneys and all your organs didnot want the baby also to suffer and born as a defective baby .the concerned diffect may due to some lack of availabiliy of some raw materials from the mothers food whom the child is staying .or she might have taken some medicine which might have damaged the childs organ what ever is the case. i am a folloer of naturopathy and i consider nature is god and he wants to have a healthy child i would advice to take fruits and raw vegetable on the pregnancy period .it will not only cleanse the entire system of the mother but also supply necessary raw materials which the ch8ild lacking . better consult a naturopathy doctor . all chemicals which are taking as pill by the mother will have effect on the kid .coz the pill will get intothe bloodstream of the mother and eventually to the child. dont take medicine on pregnancy .you may agree it or not it is the truth bye

My first reaction would be to cry. My second reaction would be to learn about the defect as much as I could.
