The battery of laptops last for just a few hours. Sometimes I really need it for a longer time but the battery just run out quickly and there is nowhere to plug it. And the battery charges for several hours. Sometimes I realize that I need to bring it so I have to charge it. After charging for about 4 hours, the battery is not yet full. What do you think? Did this ever happen to you?

If you need to do your work on the go, like i do, you will need a laptop. One thing that strikes me is your low battery life and recharge rate. I can last up to 4 hrs and i don't recall my recharge time to reach somewhere in the 4hr mark. Its probably a battery issue which you might need to check with your dealer.

Those batterry life stated is base on the rest mode with screen lowest screen brightness, wi-fi and bluetooth off, cd rom not running. There for, it can reach 3-4 hours before it drain out. For our normal usage, 2 hours i the max it can reach.
There are mobile laptop charger sold out there. That make it very convinient where you can charge yoru battery in your car everywhr.

I'm using laptop too. Yes, some times we need spare battery. But it costly to. My laptop battery stand up to 4hr. What i do to expand my battery is configure it to optimal performance. Disable all unneeded item such as, wifi.
Guess what, my battery expand to 5 to 6hr... Try... :-))

i use laptap at work but does not need battery, so i always bring the cable. i just plud it then work. but sometimes i bring the battery. the battery is important to other people if they have to work outdoors. but for me no battery at all is okay.

Laptops are very useful nowadays. what i did is i bought an extra battery so ill charge the 2 battery first before i leave then if there is an outlet ill use that first if not ill use the first battery but still i have a spare. it will depend on how much you use it. if you use it for work and if you travel a alot definitley you should have an extra battery.

I know battery is such a big deal when using laptop outside your home. Even if you always bring your cable with you but if there's no outlet to plug it in it's useless. Well, a 2-3 hour battery life should be enough for a day out unless you plan to go to the desert where there's no electricity. You can also bring an extra battery but still it won't last one whole day, sad to say!
