what happens to you if you are preoccupied?

yesterday, i took my lil sister to the mall to catch a movie she wants.
before we head up to the theater we ate and i was in a pretty nice mood, not until i recieved an SMS, and the thought did not went away easily. i dragged my sis to the phone shop to get prepaid load. i hand over a 500 bill and 20 minutes later when i got my purse ready to pay for another mercahndise at a different shop, i found out i did not get my change.
im confused and the same time quite sure that the i did not get my 400 change. i hurriedly went back to the phone shop, and luckily the woman at the counter was honest enough.
I really felt stupid that time. Did it ever happen to you in some ways?

yup it did happen to me once.. there was one time where in i have to attend a party.. i already bought a gift a day prior however i forgot to buy a paper bag coz it's a stuff toy that i bought. the party would start at 6pm.. i got off from work around 4pm.. so i hurriedly went to a nearby store to buy the wrap or the paper bag.. because i'm in a hurry coz i was thinking i still have to go a salon to have my hair fix and everything.. i forgot to get the paper bag from the counter. i paid for it already. i just realized when i'm like so far from the counter that i have to get back to the 3rd floor counter to get it...
in the end -- i was still late for the party --

Not yet, I'm very careful in handling money to the cashier. I see to it that she gives me my change.

Well i am very stress out like, i am having a hard time doing a lot of things in a short span of time.
Even i wanna relax, i couldn't coz i have a lot of things to do. And it's really hard being preoccupied person.

hello vash, yeah with the pretty hectic schedule on this fast paced time we have now. sometimes you can barely find time to relax.
but its summer time..so chill out!

Yes, i don't like distractions when i'm doing critical things like paying for items over the counter. I will get distracted easily if rushing to do things such as one example when i was going to travelling, i was rushing but my roommate kept asking me this and that and being distracted, i knew i will forget something, which turn out true. Lucky it was just the toiletries.
