Flight Cancelled Because of Foul Mouthed Pilot

Did you hear about this? Apparently a flight from Vegas to Detroit was cancelled when the pilot was heard by passengers boarding the plane cursing during a cell phone conversation. He went into the bathroom to and they could still hear him. When confronted by one passenger he cussed them out. The flight was cancelled and the passengers were given later flights, food and hotel stays. I'm glad they didn't take off. I would be pretty paranoid flying on a plane after that incident. What would you do?

If I happen to be one of the passengers, I'll put a packing tape into his mouth. He's a bad influence to people especially to the kids on board. He is a professional, he should have minded his professional ethics for him to be respected... Respect is hard to earn.

I would hold him down so you could put the tape on. It is not really called for to act like a jerk.

That is pretty interesting to me. I guess we would be afraid of him having "air rage". I think it is only fair, if people can be bumped for having crying children, then a foul mouthed, bad tempered pilot is even more of a risk. Thanks for the post.

I totally agree. It's hard to keep a child from crying sometimes, but there's no reason for the pilot to be act that way, especially in front of passengers. We all have things that effect us in different ways, but in a responsibility role such as a pilot, those things can't effect our job or they presumably put others lives in danger. Thanks for your contribution, as always!

Aye. No problem. I try to write a news article once a week for Associated Content because they typically get the most hits and increase the page view bonus income.

Wow that sounds absurd! I would be pretty worried if I had a pilot that was cursing to the passengers. I mean if hes mad you never know how people are here could want to just end his life and take everyone aboard with him. So i definitely approve why this happened.

Those were my feeling exactly. While in reality I can't imagine someone with that type of responsibility really doing something that absurd, but in this day in age you never know. He could fly the plane into a mountain. Thanks for your response.

Wow, I'm really surprised nobody has taken to this alarming story. I thought there would be quite a bit of interest. Of all the articles I have written for associated content, this one has by far the most views. I guess if it's not about how to make money then nobody on MyLot is going to take a peak. LOL
Ah well.
