i think its really a hard task. in long distance relationship, u can only talk to each others. Still its depends both on you. without the physical proximity how can u do this? also how much close u r despiteof the distance also.

I guess I'm in a long distance relationship right now...My hubby and I lived together for 4 years, but right now he is training in Alabama, and I'm in Florida. We will be apart for about 6 months total now, and then in July he is going to S. Korea and we will be apart for at least a year, probably 2.
So, do they work? Mine is, just fine. It's hard and stressful and I would give just about anything to be with him, but I know in time we will be together. Is presence more important than love and trust? No, not at all.

I beleive it depends on the people involved in the long distance relationship. If you are the clingy, obsessive, possesive or jealous type of person then a long distance relationship is not going to work for you. Trust is very important if you dont fully trust him or her then dont waste your time it will not work. I have been in a long distance relationship for 2 yrs and I love it, however my best friend has been in a long distance relationship for a little over 1 yr and she hates it. I tend to get turned off in relationships where the guy is clingy or we are always together (easily bored). She loves to cling to her mates and tends to get jealous easily. I like space and I love to look foward in seeing him. I'm a sag he's a aries. My best friend is a scorpio and her guy is a leo. Would not recommend long .distance relationships in water signs cancer, scorpio or pisces (these signs tend to like to cling to their mates a little more).

I used to think they work. My ex was in another city and we made it work for sometime and never had a problem. But with my current bf (he lives in the same city but an hour away), its becoming difficult. maybe its that coz we live in the same city we expect to meet more often but cant because of the 1 hour commute and other stuff.
