Now that would be a big disappointment. I was already disappointed when she killed of Dumbledore. Though I don't think a boycott would do any good once she did try to kill either Harry, Ron or Hermione, I mean, it's already the end of the series what books if any are there left to boycott? But it would a very crappy ending to a great series.

I don't think Harry will die. JKR must be too smart to disappoint all Harry's fans. It's like dumping herself into her end. Don't worry, our hero won't die, and I hope it's Voldermort.

Its a big character..and i dont think it has to be harry..It may be ROn ,or the principal of the school or hermoini..

The artice that I read saild that Jk Rowling hinted she was going two kill two characters in the last book. I think one of them is going to be Lord Voldomornt and the other one is going to be one of Harrys lesser friends. Maybe Neville, Luna or one of rons brothers. All I can say is if they kill off Harry, Ron, Hermoine, or Ginny it would ruin EVERTHING. I could never read a Harry Potter book or watch a Harry Potter movie ever agian if JK Rowling killed any of the 4 main characters.

haha! i so understand you feelings. thats gonna be a sad thing if harry would die in the end, really. if JK would not want to write any spin-off of HP books, then she does not have to kill Harry, right? as a fan, i would like to remember him as a hero or something. and hero who does not have to die, my ghad. haha! :)

We all know,, I mean those who read the books know that either Harry or Voldemort will die in the other's hand, and they are both main characters.. Do you think JK will end the book with tears in the reader's eyes??

I'm not sure how true this is, but J. K. Rowling supposedly wrote the last page of the last book before anything else. She's known how it was all going to end right from the beginning. When I heard that, the first thing that popped into my mind was that Harry would die, but after reading some of the posts here, I'm not so sure and, truth be told, I'd rather that he not die. :)
