Copied during exams?

During my school days I used to cheat or shall we say pick up some correct answers from my seat mates... I was caught, most of the time, but was never been submitted to any disciplinary action.. the reason.. I never fail to supply my angry professors with alibi that they themselves never thought would came from a guy like me, we always end up laughing once they caught me and asked me what I am doing.... Here's an example; My professor once caught me staring at my seatmate's paper during a periodical exam... when he called my attention I told him that I'm not cheating but rather merely verifying, if the answer of my seatmate was same as mine. The prof rebutt and asked me what then if the answer is different... I answered back with confidence that surely then my seatmate's answer is wrong...

I rarely cheating while I had an exam. Coz I'm afraid that my teacher knew it. Although, I'm more satisfied with the score I got by myself than I'm cheating my friend's answers. On the contrary, I often give the answer to my friend. Usually, my friend, who sat next to me, copied my exam. I think they more skilled in cheating than me.. =P But I had an experience about this. My friend asked me to tell the answers to him. I was a little afraid because my teacher was standing in front of the class. So, before I told him, I saw my teacher first. but sometimes I made an eye contact with her. So my teacher distrusted me. She knew that I told my friend the answers, not I'm the cheater. But I'm so disappointed because she was angry with me, asked me to do my exam in front of the class in the floor, and asked me to come to the teacher's office at break time. and my friend was only asked to come to the office!! I was very sad on that day.. "
