I prefer PC because you can upgrade it easily, change the accessories easily and cheaply, if one the is damage you can change immediately without affecting the other inside components of your PC, and the accessories are very cheap compare to laptop. And PC are long term use compare to laptops.

Laptop - HP Laptop computer
I prefer laptop over desktop. All the while since I started working, I am a laptop user. My company provides me with laptop the very day I started work with them and I buy a laptop for my personal use as well. I like the flexibility that the laptop provides me, which I can work or use the computer anywhere I want in the house and well as outside the house. And the data is always with me in my laptop harddisk, I can use it as and when I need it. That is very convenient. I set up a wireless network in my house thus I and my family members can use it anywhere we want, in the room, in the lounge room or even on the bed.

Hey pabitra_g, laptops are more fashionable these days, they add some aura of respect on the holder, they are such an obsession in Africa that thieves will always go at great lengths to still it! Therefore, to spare my life in this part of the world, I prefer a desktop PC, its fixed, and heavy and no body would want to steal it!

personally, i prefer PCs. and thats because of the availability of parts. i can upgrade any part i want, specially when i need it most. unlike with laptops, if i have hardware problems with it, my only resort would be taking it to a tech, which, ironically, would take hours, even days to get fixed.
