How old were you when you went on your first flight? Where did you go?

I was about 9 and it was from London to Gran Canaria, I was disappointed I found it really boring, you couldn't see anything but clouds. I expected to be able to see the towns and cities below me I didn't realize you flew above the clouds.

This is very interesting. I am 5 year old when I took my first flight, but I can't remember where I go, but when I am 14, I took my second flight to Thailand. As I do not recall much when I was 5 year old, I will tell you about my flight when I was 14. I felt very excited when the plane took off, did not felt scared at all, just plain excitement.

I was very young when I got my first air plane trip. About 5 months. But the first that I remember was 20 years ago when I did a trip from Brazil to Portugal. It was a very nice trip, and I was not scared at all.

i went on my first flight when i was 18.From macao to Beijing.I was not scared at all but kind of excited.

i was 13 when i first got into a plane. i was excited coz it was my first time. it was just a 2 hour flight but it felt like i was in the clouds for a very long time hehehe. it was just a domestic flight but it felt like i went to another country hehehe.

believe it or not, i was already 22 when i took my first flight (local travel).. i was just so excited (not scared at all) that i didnt sleep the whole trip and just stared at the sky thru my window..

I was 7 years old when I took my first flight. I was very excited. We went from California, USA to New York, USA. Now, I am scared, as I am older and wiser to the world, and will not fly anymore.

i was 20 when i took my first flight.... it was from bhubhaneswar to nagpur (In india)... and it was a mixed experience, a bit of fright and a bit of excitement.

i remember my first time on an plane! i was around 7 and it was a national flight going from my native karachi city to a neighboring city of Hyderabad! i remember being very excited and enthusiastic! it was a family thing and i was accompanied by all my family members! I must admit i have some very fond memories of my first flight!

I was around 5 when I took mu first airplane trip. It was to Indonesia, where I lived part of my life. I wasn't really restless or scared or anything, but I did look forward to going to another country and living there. just kidding I was 15

I was around 7 when I first rode an airplane. We went to Singapore. I was really excited and I couldn't stay in my seat for 3 hours!

my first trip when I was 7 years old and I went with my parents and 3 of my brothers. we went to arab, france and swiss. it took us about 1 month in 3 countries. I didn't scared but my oldest brother was. I remember he asked my father to give him sleeping pill but my father instead of gave him sleeping pill he just gave him vitamin and my brother didn't know about that. and he went to sleep after took that because he thought that was sleeping pill.

I was 20 yrs old then when I went on my first flight. Me and my sisters went to Hongkong for a vacation. I was'nt really scared but a little nervous and excited about the trip. Once the plane had taken off and we were on the air I was calm and preceded to looking out through the plane's window, nice view up there. :-)

I was about 1 year old in my first flight from Egypt to Iraq. Of course I remember nothing about it. I was about 4 years old when I took a flight from Egypt to Holland. Although I do remember the trip, I'm not sure about the flight itself. However, I'm sure I wasn't scared. Then it was a series of flights (twice a year) between Egypt and Saudi Arabia each year from 1989 till 1998. That was my last flight as I haven't travelled anywhere since that date. As for my overall experience, I like air travel a lot. I just like looking at the clouds and city lights from the plane. I also like the atmosphere of airports. I really can't wait to have another flight.

I was already 18 years old when i first ride an airplane. ^__^ i had to go overseas (but still within the country) for my college and my mother didnt want me to travel on water. i was really excited and i actually didnt felt nervous at all. even if it hurt a little in the ears (during take off and landing), i still enjoyed the flight. its not everyday that i can be within the clouds and almost be able to touch it. ^__^ unfortunately, superman wasnt there to escort our plane. LOL

I went from Berlin to Hamburg and I was seven years old. It was a bit exciting not for the flight but because I was travelling alone. My parents put me on the plane and the stewardesses were very nice to me. The flight was interesting and my relatives picked me up at the other end. All went well and this was in 1959.

I was 12 when I went on my 1st flight. I was really excited. Mom & I went to US that time.
