How Often Do You Cut Your Hair?

I think that it's normal to do it once a month, but I know people who don't cut it for a longer term. Even the hairdressers say that it's supposed to be done once a month. How about you?

I cut my hair every two years, although I do trim my bangs about once a month. I am blessed with hair that grows fast so I donate my ponytail to Locks of Love which makes wigs for children who are cancer patients.

I did that too ! My hair grows so fast, is so thick and usually gets only trimmed three times a year. The last time I donated 17inches of a ponytail and still had 14inches left to braid, curl or wear straight down! I am blessed with a great mane !

Hello tzvetelina!(",) To be honest, I only allow my hair to be cut once a year. I don't often go to any hairdresser. I just let my sister cut my hair to any style I like. My hair doesn't grow that long. This year, I would like to have a try in letting a hairdresser cut my hair. It won't be that soon because my hair is not long enough to be cut in nice style.(",) Have a good day!(",)

They say you should get you hair cut evry 6 to 8 weeks to keep it good condition. I usually get mine cut every 2 to 3 months. More when its a special occasion. I just can't find the time to book in to get my hair done all the time.

I have to admit, i hate the hairdressers and always put off getting my hair cut. I don't think i've had it cut since the start of the year though i'm trying to get an appointment to get a trim next week. The thing i dislike is the forced small talk. I'm thinking of just having a wet cut so i can get in and out in no time!

Um..never? I'll cut split ends occasionally..but I never cut my hair. I don't do trims either..and it's nearly to my butt and pretty soft. It's even been remarked on by other peoples..so I guess I do okay.

I cut my hair for about once a month, but sometimes i really gone crazy. I do really loved my hair long, because i got a bandmates with long hairs, and i'm the only one whose really in short hair. They said to me, hey dude make your hair long. But now, i start to laugh at them, they got shorter hair than mine. lol. I get really to make my hair long, maybe this coming may, but for now it's summer i just enjoy to have short hair and let the season of summer 'til over. :)

I probably get my hair cut once every two or three months. I like having long hair, and I don't even think about getting it cut until it gets to a certain length that it starts bothering me. It's just one of those things I don't think too often about, with as busy as I stay.

i guess cutting down hair in a gap of three months is best ur hair grows and when there are spilt end then the hair wont grow easily so cutting of hair comes into picture and it keeps ur hair healthy and nice and even u get refreshed once when u cut ur hair at regular intervals...anyways how long do u take to cut down ur hair and what do u think abt this

I hate to cut my hair and do it just when it`s exausted. But you`re right - a periodical cut is good.

Every two weeks, I have very short hair and can't stand the hassle of long hair, all that blow drying!!

They say you should have your hair cut every 6 weeks to keep it healthy. I have no idea why that is unless you have a problem with split ends. I personally don't do it anywhere near that often. I can't stand spending the money that often for a haircut plus I always fear they will screw my hair up and I will be unhappy with the cut so I try to save myself the stress and only get it cut when I feel its past time. Its been 9 months since my last hair cut and I'm really in no hurry to have it done again. Oh and I keep my bangs trimmed myself. I can't justify paying someone to do something so simple.

Wow once a month is very frequent. I only get a trim once or twice a year depending on how much I like the length. I also get it colored at about the same intervals.

It should be cut once a month, but I never do. I don't go to a hairdresser and have them cut my hair. If it's just trimming, I can have my husband do it for me. He's a better stylist and saves me money.
