It is Rs 2400 only. This is because I could not save much amount. To save 2400 tax amount, I will have to save 10 times means Rs 25000 so I avoided. There are various LIC and tax saving policies which are through salary deduction, I could save around 8000 rupees this year. This has become a major headache in India. Government is not increasing the limit, only the service class has to suffer. Industrialists are making lots of money and they are being exempted in many ways, that means rich are becoming more rich and poor are becoming more poor. Middle class family are as it is. No profit no loss. This is the policy of our country on tax.
