Very skinny unhealthy girls should be banned from modelling fashion???

I also support the ban of skinny models. If not for anything else, for the fact that they are a very bad example for young girls. I remember reading somewhere not only that the number of anorexia cases has very much increased in the UK but also that there have been cases of anorexia at ages as young as 5. Not to mention that there have also been a few cases lately of models actually dying because they were told to lose some more weight and they starved themselves. What amazes me the most is why in the world people insist on skinny models... A dress looks way better on a shapely woman than it does on a plank. And nevertheless the designers insist on using them. I really don't think they do justice to the dresses, the way a more "fleshy" woman would have done (and by fleshy of course I don't mean fat :) )

I find most runway models, as well as Hollywood celebrities, are way too skinny for my taste. It's sickening to see them get even more skinny too. I could understand if they had a tapeworm or something, but jeez...eat a sandwich or something.
