many or few friends!?

We are social beings. We vary in temperaments, strengths, weakness - in character! We all co-exist and are affected by one another. There are people we didn't choose but are ever in our lives...family..relatives. But we can choose our friends! So, do you want to have many friends, lots of them that you'd almost pass up for the most popular in town or just a discreet few who can really be trusted and would unconditionally accept you? I have quite a lot of friends but i still prefer the latter. How about u?

I too have many friends..sometimes i feel really bad when they know me and i dont remember them.actually its quite embarrassing..but i love to socialize..and make new friends whereever i go..but im closest with a handful of close friends..they love me unconditionally..and i love them back and we are always theer for one another,,actually i would be lost with out them.,

Actually, I have many friends, but I only have few close friends and of course, best friends. I should say, I'm friendly but it happens that there are only some who make friends with me and the rest reject me. At first I worry, because I thought this might affect my performance in everyday life. But now, I just say to myself "And so? Who cares?! If they don't want me to be their friend, what more for me? I don't stick myself to them. There are lots of people in this world, who the heck are they?" (Ooops... sorry for this. I know it sounds bitter.)
They say, they find me weird. Well, yeah, that's true. It's because, first, I study people's attitudes and from that I would be able to cope with them. I just use my being a "weirdo" so that I could determine who could stay with me for a long time. It's not that I'm a pretender, but maybe, it's meant to happen for a purpose - to see if they are loyal, honest and reliable friends. Since nowadays, it's hard to predict whether a person is real or fraud.

i'm tired of having fabricated friends lolz..i just wanted to have true friends...but I think there's no such thing as a perfect friend

I have very few people if any that I would call friends. I am a sociable person but do not tend to let people get close.

i think having few friends is better then having too much bcuz when there is a big circle of friends there are good thing but there are more bad things happenning in there in my college i had a big group of friends but now its broken bcuz most of them were jealous of other and didnt want to stay friends so they brokeup the group i think we should make friends to those who are sincere wd us
