What would you do if you picked up a $1,000 bill on the street?

The first thing I'd do is ask around if they've lost a bill. If that doesn't work, I'd probably keep it until my conscience bothers me with statements like, "You THIEF!" or "You didn't earn this bill!" and I'd have to give it to charity instead. I think all of us would have done the same and keep it to ourselves but before doing that, I'd realy put my best efforts in finding whoever dropped it. I mean a $1000 dollar bill is a lot for my country so it's really sad if you lose it. I mean, if you were the one who lost it, you would have tried searching for it right and i'd be really thankful if someone returned it.

I would probably keep it and i would use it sensibly. i would probably use it to pay off my credit card so we can stop using it. Its been used too much. we are not strugling to pay it off but then if you got hold of a sum of money you would probably do the same in different circumstances, I.E. if you were owed it, or atleast i would/do anyway lol.

Since it would be an antique (high dollar bills like the thousand were last printed sometime in the 40s I believe) I'd take it to a collector and sell it for more than the face value. I'd then donate half of what I get to charity and keep the other half.

$1000 is not a lot of money so there isn't really a lot I could do with it, but it would help my financial situation some. I would definently keep the money and most likely use it to pay off one of my credit cards. My first priority right now is crawling out of debt, so I would definently use it for that purpose. If I didn't have any debts i would use the 1k to go on a vacation. I haven't had a real vacation since my first year of college so I would love to get out of the country and go on a cruise somewhere.

Probably give it to the poor. I didn't work for it so I wouldn't have a hard time donating it.
