Ok, well we do know it does work for a few, but I am not convinced it's a large percentage...unless you meet each other ASAP to get to the 3rd dimension, eye contact reveals the soul...your comments appreciated...Thanks

My boyfriend and I chatted online for 3 months before we met in person. I think that you get to know someone better by talking alot before you meet in person. Just because you look someone in the eyes doesn't mean that you have gotten to know the person they are on the inside. I realize that there are some that lie on the internet but a person can lie to you face to face as well.

I guess you are taking my comments wrong. Of course there is sometime before meeting in any "to be" relationship whether over the net or phone. My meaninf is that the "eye contact" is the proof of time spend getting to know each other...Do trust what the eyes reveal, they speak volumes

I met my husband on the internet and we had about a 6 month span between just being on the internet and meeting we talked daily on the internet and the phone. we sent e mails. I knew I loved him before I saw him but your right about eye contact reveling the soul ,because when I met him face to face I knew I had met my soul mate. p.s. We are now 4 years later still together happily married.

Excellent and I am happy for you both...The meeting and "eye contact" was the proof check to your time spend on the net getting to know each other...Congrats!
