like sth. is hard to quantify and explain cleary. you konw, it is just a feeling of your own. in economics, we may say that you like something if the utility of consuming such things is larger than zero. but there exist a rule of decreasing marginal utility, so if you consume more , your marginal utility will decrease and at a point your marginal utility is zero, it is the optimization amount of your consuption. if you continue to consume more goods, your utility will decrease, which is not reasonable
