any tattoo designs you like?

I was thinking about getting a tattoo and have asked my mom for her opinion on it. Although the idea of painting my skin isn't her cup of tea, she gave me a go signal. Now, I have two places where I want to get tattooed but I have no idea what kind of image/text I want to put -- rather, I can't pick among several things I want to get tattooed. My main choice right now is getting 'Houb' (translation: Peace) calligraphy done on my right ankle. The image is the picture I've attached to this discussion. And no, that's not the letter J.
If you have a tattoo, what is it of? And if you don't have one, just give me an idea of a design you'd like to get? (Let's pretend that getting tattoos are painless. Hehehe.)

I had mine done on my right ankle just a few weeks ago.It wasn't that painful ,mine had a light hand and it felt like little nicks with a razor blade but it wasn't so bad.
Mine has a rose in the center and two petals on each side with roses at each end.I like your pick , can you go with any color or is it your favorite. (the ankle is a little more tender place to get a tat)

I'm assuming there are other places which hurt much more than the ankle (my other tattoo-able spot was the back of my skull, just next to the ear which I'm sure will be PAINFUL). Thanks for the advice -- your rose sounds really pretty. On the color, I don't think I can get it in yellow because it won't show well on my skin. Maybe a dark red or a purple would suit my tanned skin better, or maybe I'll just keep it black and gray.

I don't like permanent tattoos so, I chose the stickers that I can change as I like and when I like...
I had a Tahitian moon that I really loved and in winter I like snowflakes -
PS - they are painful, I know because my best friend had a tattoo done on his calf.

It took me a long time to finally get a tatoo. I waited until I was 40! Then I decided to get a butterfly because they seem so freeing to me. I went to the tatoo artist and picked out the perfect butterfly. When I got home and showed it to my family they all admired it. Then for some reason someone looked at it upside down and said it looked like an owl! And you know what...it does! Now I am a bit sad about my perfect butterfly~ I'm not big on owls!

Actually i am a big no to tattoo but since your asking for a nice design to ruin your skin then a nice butterfly would be a great one to choice. its a goodluck too..i dont know why but just try it if you like.
