How many forums?

I am a member of several different forums. Two are non paid to post forums, although one gives points which can be converted into a variety of things and both of these sites are Australian. Then there is myLot plus another paid to post forum, which I seldom visit these days, and a third one which has a profit sharing arrangement for members. They all are different however I enjoy each one of them for many reasons and the main reason is that I enjoy sharing opinions with others.
What about you? How many forums do you belong to and what sort of forum is it?
Please do not list the sites here, as that is against the rules.

Apart from myLot, I am a member of one other Forum which I used to visit on a regular basis, but have found it to be not such a nice place to be over the past year as it can be quite an unreal experience when some are in not so happy moods, especially around the nights of a full moon....lol so mainly stick around here and try to stay safe! lol

Caramello, I think I know which forum you are talking about too. Is it the one where that stupid Eric keeps falling over his cord, when in fact he should wrap it round a few people? Now I only visit that site for my points and that is enough for me. :)
What about tweety's caramello? Are you a member there too, because I know several members who are?
Thanks for your response caramello and I hope to get back to some of the discussions here soon. :)

Well there is myLot, adviseoranswers and an Aussie site as well .... plus how many others would you like to know that don't pay. I suppose I should say those which promise to pay but never come up with the money and it always the fault of someone else. Generally they blame members for cheating, scamming or spamming and often they should say that the admin are the ones who are doing this. The latest one is closed down for a while .... supposedly due to someone attacking the site to get information .... probably the truth is that they allowed people to post anything and now cannot pay. It has been closed for over a week now ... and that seems like a long time to fix a problem when they are saying everyone's earnings are safe.
We are on an Aussie site which does not pay .. it too has been closed down for a while and everyone had points to collect things on .... not sure what is happening with it either.

I am glad to see you here. I was observing that you do n't come here now. Well, i am member of only mylot & get only its time. I am basically a student but use internet & decided to make onlnie money instead of hot chat. I use only mylot & happy here. I do n't know anyother real paying forum. I used 2,3 forums in the past but as they cancelled to pay. I left them. Hehehehe.
Regards!!!!

Hi Swetie, yes there are a lot of sites that promise the world with regard to payment and then never come through with the money. Luckily I have never been caught by any of them but do know a few friends who have been. If you are in a forum for earning a little money, then it is better to stick with one that you know will pay. :)

I had joined three forums in total, but the main one is mylot as i had not logged on to the other for long time, one of them has some server problem and members are unale to get access to it there. All those forum I joined are said to be real ones which pay you money.
At this moment , i will only say mylot is the only one i trust , if i receive the payment in 10 days, I can tell poeple it is not a scam, about teh second one i joined, I can say that the discussions there are not as good as in mylot but seems to earn money much easier, but i do not know whether they will pay members or not as they are underconstuction, may be they will never reopen again, who knows. I do not have any commnets on the third one I joined as i am totally inactive there.

Yes there are some sites which promise the world and do not pay, and if the one you are talking about that is closed, I would not hold out much hope for it. It would be nice for the members if I was proven wrong of course but do have several friends who joined one site and it has been closed for a week now for work to be done on the site. They think they have wasted their time posting to that site.
Thanks for your input and keep enjoying your time here on myLot.

Im also a member of several different forums. I joined about three non paid for post and about four paid for post forum. But, some of them are from Malaysia forum and I only join only one paid for post in a Malaysian Paid forum. The another forums is about the computer software and earn some money same as MyLot. I have lots of experience in forum and I also a moderator for one known forum from Malaysia. Im so proud of myself.

It does sound as though you are busy with a number of forums, plus being moderator on one of them. The fact that some are for your own country would be good, as that way you can keep in touch with things that are happening there. Thanks for sharing this information with us. :)

I am here only on Mylot. I spend my free time on Mylot. As I enjoy here, I don't want to join another forum. Because I don't have much time. Whatever time I have I want to spend on Mylot. This is just a wonderful commynity, friends here are so good.

I am on so many forums, but I will tell you the forums that I am on, one for Roxette, one for Cyndi Lauper, one for New Radicals, Word Reference, myLot, and there are another handful that I registered with but I don't visit. There are so many forums out there that it is not funny. However they can be time wasters especially if you are on so many. I don't visit the forums like I used to. Have a nice day.

You are right in that there are so many forums on the internet these days, and it seems that every other day as one closes down, another starts up. Also agree that people are better off not being an active member on heaps of forums, or they achieve not a lot.

I actually joined Mylot and another forum, but gave up on the other one very quickly.
I didn't like the way it was run or the members. I found them to be rude and offensive.
So now, I have just my membership with mylot. I prefer Mylot and as much as I could probably earn money quicker elsewhere, I don't want to.
I'm happy here with the friends I've made and the huge variety of discussions.

Yes, there are times when we find a niche that suits us and as a forum member it is most important to know that we can relate to other members. What a shame you weren't happy with the other forum, or you could have had the choice of 2.
Thanks for responding to the discussion. :)

Sometimes the ones for fun are the most enjoyable I have found deebomb, because those who are members are there because they want to be. They also post because they want to, and not for the money. Not that everyone is here for the money, because I know they are not but I do find there is a different atmosphere amongst members in a non-paying site to the ones in a paying site.

I belong to 2 other forums, I wish that I knew which sites you were talking about Ossie as you know that I am from Australia. I enjoy sharing opinions as well and also I like to learn new things. Oh no I would not list the sites here but I would like to hear from you through a private message to the forums that are with Australia.
