Age differences - does it matter?

If you were to know a 17 years old man who is interested in someone who is 24, would it be ok? what's the limit?

surely theres no limit ....but
17-24..thats the difference ..lol
the ideas, intellect- all different , stability b/w the two which i think would be poor
age difference has an effect on a lot of these things especially the above mentioned
which i think r really essential to make such a thing work
age factor would get in the way of many things!!
try it .....lol...(joking):)

The thing is that you are generalizing the ages, you think that 17 years old are all about parties and goofing off but some might be as intelectual as a 60 years old.
Plus, some (and perhaps most) people in their 20's might act like 12 years old.. so there are always special cases.

well.i didnt mean it that way like all teens r like abt goofing n all ...n what ur saying is alsO true ....but such a case is really very rare :)
& another thing i.e that a person might know a lot at the age of 17 ....he maybe a decent one ..n y not ...but still he doesnt know much about the practical life around...like so many things he would later wish he knew b4 getting into a relationship...no?

I think it should be ok if 17 years old man interested in someone older than him. but it all depend on 24 years old person want to accept the love or not. I think for now, what the younger one can do now is take the older as a good friend. hope the man wont try to do something to show the love and the interest and it could make the thing worsen. Wait until you are in suitable age that the girl would possibly accept. maybe 4 year later after the man become 21 years old.

im not sure how it works in your country, but you could land yourself in jail in the USA. i would wait til you were at least 18 if there is anything your doing about it. And of course it depends on the person your attracted to, does she feel the same., maybe not. at 24- i would not have given a 17 year old the time of day!

They say age is no bar for love to happen.Love just happens ..I beleve in this but one thing I want to say is..
yes Love happens but to continue wth this love and lead a life there must be some agegap and the understanding..if u manage with this understanding life long then there is no harm in any case..
But if the girl is older and guy is younger, then sometimes problem arises with the gap..the girl is more mature and may b commanding because of her age and premonition that the guy is too childish and here the problem arises.Guys like me have a ego and a bit of attitude wont take it easily..In the begining everything will be ok as romance rules but as days pass,it becomes difficult for most of the guys to obey someone .
