At what age did you get your first job? How many jobs have you had since then? My first job was babysitting when I was about 14 years old. I did it after school and on the weekends to earn some money. I've had several different jobs since then cause I was 14 many many years ago! LOL. Total I've had about 10 jobs in my life.

I baby-sat off and on from as early as 9 years old for my cousin for an hour here and there. My first real job was working at a local veternarian as a "kennel worker" I was responsible for walking the dogs that were in for boarding or for proceedures, cleaning kennels and cages, feeding the cats and dogs. I started doing this when I was 15 years old. After I turned 16 I moved into the Pet Store business that was attached to the veternarians office. I stayed their through out high school (4 years). During my 2 years at college I worked at a reatil store in bookkeeping/customer service. Then I worked as a Sales Coodinator for a manufacturing company for 5 years. I then moved onto County Government working in the IT Department as Help Desk Specialist. Now for the last 7 1/2 months I have been running my own in-home daycare.

My first 'job' was selling candy to my classmates in school. I think I started when I was about eight or nine. I'd buy really cheap candy overseas when we'd go on holidays, and when I came back home I'd sell them with nearly 100% markup. I also made and sold popsicles. It beat having to set up a lemonade stand.

Well, I started working when I was 15 at a ice cream shop. I worked there until I was 17 and then started waitressing...I worked at 3 places as a waitress then I worked at a Rockaway Bedding!LOL!
I stopped working there after just under a year b/c I can't stand seedy sales people and it was the most boring job I have ever had!LOL!
After graduating high school is when I really got to play around with what I wanted to do with my life. I got my CNA certification and worked for a home health care agency.
Then after 2 years of loving that I worked for a local hospital as a phlebotomist for 3 years while going to college for liberal arts.
I am still at the same hospital and going to an excellent 4 year college and getting my BSN(science and nursing.) I have found my passion and am getting to go with it, thanking God all the way:)
So I guess in total that would be 7 place in total!

I think my first "real" job was a crew at McDonald's. I was around 16 years old. It was also a summer job. I was very excited to have to work there. It was like a "grown up" work. I also met a lot of interesting people. I enjoyed so much the people that I worked with because we became friends and started going out a lot during breaks and free time.
I don't really remember how many other jobs I had after that. I think I've had 4 or 6 jobs after that, including my practicum, or on the job training in a bank right before graduation.

I got my first job at 19. It was to be a summer job for students from the city hall, but ended up being a full year thing when they asked me to stay at the end of the summer. After that I was teaching for 2 years but they got me a teaching position way too far from my home in a small village and my mom kep asking me to go back. So I ended up back on city hall and living close to mom. Then I came to canada and worked as a ward dclerk at a hospital - in the AIDS clinic - loved it too :)Since then I have been teaching in here. In between one thing and other I' ve had other small jobs but I don't even remember which ones LOL

My first job was similar to yours. I worked at a daycare center when I was sixteen years old. I think that I took that job just because it was offered to me. I have had a lot of jobs. I have always taken work very seriously. I am always on time, dressed appropriately and ready to do my job. I think working on a job is a lot of fun.

My first job was when I was 15/16 and I was the private tutor who gave private lessons after school to kids to help with their English. I have been doing that for around 10 years too as I got different students and that doesn't really take too much of my time. But I didn't really enjoy it and that was mainly for the money to subsidize my school fees. A real job which I got for a Christmas holiday was a sales person selling chocolates in a convenience store. It was fun! I got to sell Kinders and I see people going to the chocolate section of the store, I had to persuade them to buy Kinders. It was a lovely and hard experience *laughs*.

I also started babysitting as my first job, and I was probably 13 or 14 at the time. Since then, I have had 7 or 8 jobs that I can remember, including McDonalds, a bunch of secretarial type jobs, teaching college, and babysitting.

I got my first real job when I was about 15 at a bakery around the corner from my house and I loved it!!! I did a traineeship there and got my qualifications in retail! Since then I have worked in a coffee shop, then in target, then in another coffee shop, then in a food mall, then in an ice cream shop, then as a cleaner, then at KFC, in a coffee shop again, then as a makeup sales person, then as a carer, customer service in a service station, in a takeaway food shop and now I am a support worker! SO I have had about 15 jobs Wow it seems like alot when i put it that way!

Humm...let me think.
When I was 14 I babysat three of my cousins children (2,4, and 6) in her home all summer. She sold peaches during the summers and was gone from 5am until after the kids went to bed at night. Her husband was a Schawns guy and during the week lived in a city a couple hours away closer to the company. So I have the kids all day, every day except on Saturday evenings and Sundays. I had a blast and so did they kids. I also did it partially the next summer too. They're now nearly grown (one is with a baby of her own) and they still say I was the best babysitter they ever had.
I also cleaned my aunt and uncles house once a week for a while but I can't remember exactly what age I started that. It didn't pay much but it gave me a little extra cash.
When I was 15 I handed out coupons for Cost Cutters - a hair place in Wal-Mart for a few weeks. That was the most boring job ever.
Then when I was 17 I got my first 'real' job (not that child care isn't - I just mean on a more permenant basis). I started at McDonalds and worked there for two years. For a time while I worked at McDonalds I also worked at a gymnastics center as an assistant teacher. And then after I stopped that I went to work for Kroger for about a month before I moved - quitting both Kroger and Wal-Mart.
I then worked at Service Merchandise selling jewelry. Loved that job. Could have it's boring moments but by far it was my favorite thus far. I did that only about six months before they went out of business.
Then after searching for another job for several months I went to and started working for Wal-Mart. It was suppose to be until I could find something better but it's been over seven years and I'm still there unfortunately.
So it looks like seven jobs :)

I got my first job when I was 16. I worked at a grocery store. I worked there for 4 years. I have had 5 jobs since then. So I have had a total of 6 jobs in my whole life. When I work for a company I tend to stay with them for a while as long as they treat me well. Although I have had a couple of jobs where I quit within a couple of months. But I had very good reasons for quiting.
