Agnostics, as far as I know, are those who are uncertain about God's existence; or those who don't care at all whether God exists or not.
As far as I'm concerned, agnostics are worse than atheists. Atheists don't believe in God. But for me, I think it's better not to believe, than not to care whether God is there or not. I just cannot stand their apathy.
As for me, I believe in God absolutely.++++++++++

This is a misconception about agnostics, agnostics believe in god generally, but they believe that god is unknowable. Generally they reject the tenants of organized religion and follow their own moral code. Agnostics are generally not apathetic, but rather stand firm in their beliefs. To me it is those that follow the religious doctrine without question that are apathetic, as are many atheists.

I'd probably describe myself as agnostic, not a religion its just used to describe someone who believes that there may be a higher purpose in life and possibly some sort of figure guiding us, but not entirely sure what or who. So i don't rubbish anyone elses beliefs but listen to them and maybe one day i will discover the answer, on that day i will let you all know which religion (if any of them) is right

being agnostic is not a person of a religion, it means the person hasn't decided if he/she believes in God or not.
It is the person who says things like I don't know if there is a God,
or maybe there is a God or maybe not I don't know.

I am an agnostic, and I should correct you right off the bat, by definition an agnostic does not follow a specific religion. An agnostic generally believes that god is unknowable and thus there is no single correct religion. An agnostic generally believes there is a god, but believes that man cannot know what god wants of us or why he created us, therefor all religions founded by men (in other words ALL religions) are inherently flawed. You will never find a written description of the agnostic religion beyond that, because an agnostic has no religion, no tennents, no written "Word of God" an agnostic can be a Christian, Hindu, Muslim, or any religion base, but in the end they gennerally reject the religion and subscribe to the belief that I mentioned above, allowing that sure the religious masses could be right, but they could be wrong, there is no knowing.

An agnostic is someone who doesn't know if they believe in a god or not. It's not a religion. It means they think it's impossible to know whether god exists.

Agnosticism is not a religion, far from it. It's basically an attitude of respect towards those who believe in God or are religious people by those who simply don't know, and accept that status quo. Immanuel Kant, one of the most important philosophers (and German, of course), wrote the epic 'The Critique of Pure Reason', basically analysing in it the mind. He is the best known agnostic. He said that by using his reason he could not come to the conclusion that God exists - but neither could he come to the conclusion that there is no God.
