Actually if you go to AC and search you'll find answers and pointers on that topic..heh. Also option to recieve the AC newsletter of ideas which I think is weekly and they give some pointers on popular content ideas that may sell. They're looking for things with keywords people are going to be searching for and interested in,

They do have the tips and tools there at AC. I too belong and would night mind being linked to you there. Could support each other that way. They do want things over 400 words and be sure to submit soon and regularly since they are now taking 2 weeks to offer on articles. I wish you luck and much success. http://www.associatedcontent.com/user/64154/rebecca_haughn.html

Just make sure you use good grammar, have excellent spelling, and don't write anything that could be considered poetry or prose (if you want to get paid for what you write). Good luck!

Like most other writing opportunities, it usually best if you write about something you know or have a passion for. The second tip has already been mentioned: Use the best grammar and spelling possible. Run it through the spell check, read it at least twice, and if you are uncertain, run it by a friend for their take on it. Another set of eyes will find lots of stuff you missed as a rule. Associated Content often has "special offers" that they offer a guaranteed price for. Last week, it was product reviews. These had to include certain information, be a certain length, and so on. If you subscribe to their weekly email, you will receive this information; if you haven't, you can sign up on their home page. Finally, be sure and read the work of others, give ratings, and leave comments. Just like MyLot, if you want others to read your articles (and you do!), you need to extend the same courtesy. Good luck with your writing.

As far as I can tell, they take almost anything you can write. Reviews, school papers, travelogues, etc. I've also seen a lot of bad grammar and spelling there... but those articles may have been freebies. Just write, publish and see what happens.
