Do you enjoy movies at night or during the day?

I only ask this question because I seem to have to fit the movies I want to watch into my schedule where I can. I have some old favorites, but the newer ones are so much more exciting than the older ones. It takes more concertration to understand the newer ones, but this is what keeps my interest.
I just wondered what best times everyone else can enjoy a good movie?

Theoretically, the timing shouldn't matter. This is because the lights in the cinemas will be off anyway. It is always night inside.
But of course, if you keep on thinking about "outside", then day or night would make a difference to you. I would prefer the night. :P

Great answer, but the movies I watch usually come from the library or from Direct TV. So, I'm always awhere of the time since time is of the essence in so many other matters of my life. I do what I can to relax my mind. Movies do it for me I think, but I'm not possitive since most of my time is spent doing what is necessary anyway.

I enjoy watching movies mainly at night time although some times I do watch them in the day time especially of a weekend. The new movies are mainly in the night time so ths suits me fine after I have had my dinner I can then relax and watch them.

I like to watch movies at night. I think movies in the dark are so much easier to focus on. Also, I usually like to cuddle up to someone special and then go to bed right afterwards. It's like, "Oh, the end of the day. A movie would be a nice cap to it; let me forget about everything that went on in real life and focus on some fictional life out in the great divide." Or something. Heheh :)

It depends on the movie. If the movie is scary then I prefer to watch it in the day light and then follow it with a comedy or action.

me & my husband prefer watching movies at night time, as our toddler is in bed already on that time, no disturbance at all so we can concentrate and understand more the film.

I prefer watching movies in the evening to be honest, a time when I can kick back and relax with a good movie and a glass of something. I don't go out to see movies very often, I prefer curling up on the couch at home and watching in comfort.
