Gears of War Movie

It has been released that along with Gears of War 2 there is going to be a movie released too. I am not a big fan on movies that are based on games because they never turn out good (you only have to look at Doom). I'm not too sure about the thought of a movie based on Gears of War, but i would like to hear your opinions.

I think a Gears of War movie could be pretty good. Do you know if it is going to be animated or have real actors? I think an computer animated one would be better.
