Plenty of people have complained about rappers calling women hos. Some stores won't sell CDs with that kind of language; the artists have to provide the stores with 'clean' versions. Many people, black and other, have spoken out against this kind of language.

Once he apologizes ro the Rutgers women? It's been almost a week now and he still hasn't yet done so. I will forgive him but wait to see if/when he does it again. BTW Imus is scheduled to appear on Al Sharpton's show. I would like to hear what he ahs to say there, and what Sharpton has to say.

well he has requested to apologize, but has yet to be accepted by the university...must be a racial lawsuit in progress I guess....Since the "Reverend" Sharpton and Jessie Jackson want a time table for getting out of Iraq, what is the time table for ending the african american racial bigitry against the caucasions? Its been 300 years folks and we have done everything under the sun to get forgiveness but continualy pay for the past...Apparently the reverend speaks of religion and forgiveness but wants to keep the hate campaign going, which further seperates us leading to more racism...Unfortunately I doubt whether any human will be left to see an end to this, the real ending is left to God, a forgiveing God..Al has better polish his bible and come up with ways to improve relations and stop furthering this gap...

Wow, you've combined the Imus controversy, the Iraq war, and the Bible in one comment! No wonder you call yourself 'out two lunch'! ;-) P.S. Yes, slavery was a long time ago, but blacks were only guaranteed the right to vote in 1965. Lynchings occurred even after that. And before that they had to use separate bathrooms, drinking fountains, etc.

when a person has rev before his/her name it is assumed they are a christian is it not then why does not the Rev AL Sharpton read the following ? (Matt.18:21-35 21 Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, "Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother when he sins against me? Up to seven times?" 22 Jesus answered, "I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times.
