One of my all-time favorite books! I find it SO interesting that you posted this question, then immediately posted one about the patriotic act! I remember being amazed in 1984 that we were so far from approaching Orwell's 1984. The first real shiver I got was at the initiation of the Patriot Act. Know what I mean? I understand where everyone was coming from when it was drafted, and I also understand that anything anyone wants to know about me is already out there in a thousand different places... but something about making it LAW that my opinions or relationships or perfectly "legal" actions may place me on a "watch" list just gives me a really ugly feeling in the pit of my stomach.

I in fact wonder if these message topics will put us on a watch list!

How did you observe when I posted one then the other - is it by watching new discussions?

This book is one ,or the, of my favorites books. I've read the books three years ago. I've taken in the university library, but I liked so mush that I had to buy and I bought. I love this books because the author tells us the future. He told us that we would be viewed by other peoples in a camera in 1948. In my opinion, he was a genius.
