Is there a craft you want to try out or learn?

As many crafts as I am already doing, I still have some I want to try my hand at.
I have everything I need to make paper, except the time! I have also tried paper marbling with acrylic paints, but haven't really tried it much.
Is there another craft you want to try?

I would love to make wind chimes. I saw a friend of mine do it with seashells. They come out beautiful. I think this summer this will be the craft for me.

I have been making jewelry for 6 years but I started as a beginner who had a hard time with it as well. Books, classes and the internet are the way to go, as well as practice! Good luck!
I will be teaching classes myself for the first time next month. I have not yet put my class projects together, but was going to draw some from my online store:

I have been busy, so stay tuned for some new pieces coming soon. Taking pictures is harder than making the jewelry LOL

I've recently become interested in quilting. That seems a little daunting to me at the size of the project, however I started with some quilted placemats that turned out great. Now I've found a pattern for a simple baby quilt. Just the size to "try my wings" at this. Also there is a quilting technique where you prepair the squares, then sew them together with the seams on the outside. You trim the seams and wash and dry the quilt and the seams get kind of cute and fuzzy looking. It's called 'rag quilting'.

I would also love to try stained glass. I did it once in High school and while labor intensive I thoght it was really fun. You can also make such beautiful things. Even a simple box looks 10 times fancier if it's made from stained glass.
Unfortunatley I don't really have the studio space to do something like that, but it's a good thing to have on a wish list. My boyfriend did get me a gift certificate to go to a fused glass class. They teach you how to do it and let you use their kiln. I'm really looking forward to it. Just gotta make time to go to the class now :-)

When I was a kid, one of my mom's friends did have a studio and made stained glass stuff. It was sooo cool!
Since I make jewelry, I have found myself wanting to work in glass as well. What they get for the dichroic glass focal beads - OY VEY! Enough to make a girl start making her own right away, but they are so very beautiful! Good luck with the classes.

I have done so many but there are so many more I would like to learn right now my main thing is jewelry making but there are even a lot of stuff I still want to learn there like soldering, and glass bead making and wire crocheting (next week my supplies come in for that) I also want to learn some stained glass and basically everything I haven't done creating things has always been my passion, plus I'm cheap and I dont like paying for something I might be able to make.

I certainly understand the part about being cheap and wanting to make it yourself! That's what got me started making jewelry. I wanted to buy a set of wineglass charms for some friends, but the selection was dismal and expensive. I knew I could make much better ones for much less. I was right, and haven't stopped since...
I am experimenting with wire spool knitting, as soon as I retrieve my spool knitter. I left it somewhere, and won't get it back until this weekend.

I love learning how to do new crafts. I have tried many things over the years and some have done quite well at, and taken to quite quickly others I have found to be quite tedious and some not as enjoyable.
I would like to take a jewelry making class. It looks fun and interesting. I have seen some beautiful handmade jewelry.
I to don't have the time nor the money for the beads to at this time. :)

I would love to try my hand at knitting. I do many other needleworks but have a hard time with knitting. My knitting usually turns to 'knotting' very quickly. Just need someone with some patience to show me how.

I've also tried many things and I do paint on and off from time to time. I loved toll painting very much because it was easy to learn and create a product in a short period of time. One thing I've never made though is scented candles. I love them and burn so many of them that I would love to learn how to do this for myself and maybe start a little business from that.

I would love to learn to knit and crochet but just don't seem to have the knack for it. I am going to try to build a boat of bamboo today and see if we can get it to sail on our luittle nearby stream. It could be the start of a new crafting hobby!

I would love to learn to quilt by machine, and to try to learn to paint and stencil. I am not very art worthy in the painting category. I would also like to learn how to do stained glass, I have seen the kits, but have not seemed to have enough time to learn. Macrame is also something else, and making braided rugs. There are so many crafty things to do, I would love to eventually learn them all.

I've recently decided i want to try making lip balms, bar soaps and shampoos... that sort of thing. I've spent my entire life doing one craft after another, my mom's one of those people that has to be doing something all the time, and it's rubbed off on me. I think it could be really fulfilling to give someone a gift basket full of bath and body products I've made myself and have them love it.

I have many books and supplies to do this, just no time. But I am closer to starting with the melt and pour soaps - my hubby wants a new bar of soap and I told him I would make him some. As soon as he picks a fragrance from the samples I bought him!
The part I like best about making anything is that I made it! Giving a wonderful gift of thing you have made, whatever it is, is so much better than buying something; both for the giver and the receiver.
