Mylot has helped me a lot. Financially...nah! It is more on the knowledge side. My writing skill has improved a lot...though I'm still in the process of perfecting it. I've gained much information from the discussion/repsonse posted. Mylot also serves as my laugh theraphy. I enjoy reading comments...some of them really made me laugh. So I thank MyLot for all of these. What about you..how does mylot affect you?

There was a time when i could have a long discussion with friends about all sorts of things. But ever since we all parted ways i don't have the chance anymore. Mylot enables me to do a bit of that, though i prefer face to face discussions but on the other hand i am participating in a global discussion. So i guess thats a step up for me. Earning a few cents for my opinions is also not bad.

I make enough money to pay for my Ebay fees and I can shop a bit. No more money out of my own pocket. When I finally list some more items I can keep all that pocket money that this site makes for me. It has given me recipes to replace some that I lost in the fire we had. It has made me a few new good friends. I am about to make more money elsewhere writing so this site is less important now. Especially when we get eye candy with the upgrades and they do not fix the glitches that are aggrevating. I am not getting notification of my friends discussions in the mail again. I told them already. Have eaten up enough of my time along the way. I am glad it has helped me and you. I hope it never lets you down.

I have noticed that I spend more time on the computer now. Like you, I feel that my writing, grammar, and spelling has improved. I am also more confident about earning money as I know I can now do it outside of my job. So, I don't get as tense at work. Also, this is a place where I can basically talk to my heart's content, so that is a form or emotional release for me.

I think I never thought that mylot would have a great affect on my daily life, as it seems that I'm thinking, breathing, eating sleeping and dreaming mylot everytime. Kind of unnatural, but that's what I honestly feel about this community. Everytime I sign-out, I have to worry sometimes if what I wrote on my responses, discussions, comments was wrong.
The day-to-day learning here is what keep's me stuck here all the time, plus those other benefits that most of us didn't even expect that we would learn from here.

after joining myLot i feel that i have opened myself to quite a few issues that i would have never thought about otherwise. i get a chance to practice my writing skills and express opinions which i rarely do. i dont join forums and discussion sites much because i think that saying my opinion would not make much of a difference. instead i just read peoples posts so i think i would be considered a "lurker". but because mylot pays its members, it has given me incentive to share my opinions and i think that has helped me to become more opinionated.
