holding baby and typing

I'm not now but there are many times that I have to type one handed. But its not usually a baby, its usually one of the cats that is in my arms. I have had one of my grandsons on my lap when I was trying to type but they like to type too so I usually don't do it when I have them.

try putting a bobby on your lap and cradling him inside not on it. then put one arm underneath his head - he won't be going anywhere!

I often have my 2 year old on my lap while i type. It can be a pain in the bum but its very possible. When he was a baby, i would nurse him and type as well. You learn to do it without causing too many issues. Maybe a few more typos lol.

yep nursing and typing. he is still young and can only play on his own for about twenty minutes - love those twenty minutes - or up to twenty. good to know I'm not the only one!

Now that sounds like a challenge!
I have never considered that may be a reason why some can not earn so much on mylot.
Still it sounds like something interesting to try.
I am going to go out and see if I can borrow a baby...lol!

yeah I guess when its harder to type you wind up mostly reading you're right - when he falls asleep on my lap- or doesn't mind me typing - I post - while making funny noises and faces! He's not feeling well today so he's napping a lot!

I can't do that anymore now that my daughter is almost 18 months and getting very independent. She likes to help me type when she's sitting on my lap at the computer. But I used to be very multi talented when she was little. I would be playing on the internet while nursing her and sometimes even talking on the phone.

he hates when I'm on the phone usually - he loves "talking" on it though - he likes talking to nana and I record videos singing his favourite song or phrases and he is just spell bound holding it and watching.

i dont do that, its hard to divide attention from the baby, if its the baby, i dont use the pc not unless he is sleeping..

good mommy! if he's busy nursing though - he gets irritated if I talk to him! so I read and surf!

I am not holding a baby, cause all my kids are grown up. But I did it before, and its hard to type with one hand and hold a baby.

I am always typing and holding one of my kids. They are 16 months and 3 weeks. The 16 month old likes to try and help me type. When I have the 3 week old in my lap while typing she's usually nursing also.

lol I am not at the moment but normally I am! It does make typing interesting, makes reading what i have typed even more interesting! I love to sit and rock my little one while iam at the computer.
