And not even just MyLot...I'm an Internet Addict. I am admitting that I have a problem. (that is the first step right?) I used to complain that I had nothing to do all the time, because I had kids and moved away from my friends to another state...so started using the internet. Now even though I have made new friends, most times, I would rather be online than out with my friends!! I know, that sounds pathetic, but it's how I feel sometimes.
Going out costs more money that I have. Staying home on the internet, costs about $35 a month! lol. Even when I'm not on the internet, I think about being on the internet...somebody help me!

Yes, admitting you have a problem is the first step to recovery LOL but. ..who wants to recover! LOL I'm just as bad as you about being online I'm on aaall the time! I work online so I have to be on at least 8-10 hours a day, and then with MyLot (yes, I'm an addict too) all my email groups, MySpace, working on my webpages, blogging, reading blogs, buying and selling on Ebay, online kareoke..and the million other things I love to do online, I just don't have a lot of time for doing much of anything in the "real world". Once in a while I do make myself venture out of my house..out there..with the 3-dimensional people..but I'm always glad to get home so I can do all the stuff I just have to do online. I keep saying someday I'm gonna have a real life, but so far I haven't gotten very far with that. LOL

I can' help you, I have the same problem! I can't say that I think about being on the internet when I am not though. I do get crabby when I am away from it for too long. I hate to be intrupted when I am doing something on the internet. I do get bored with it though. Did you just get the internet recently? If so give it time and it will probably get better.

it is very easy to get addicted to the internet because there is so much to do. personally, i wouldnt consider myself to be addicted to the internet but now that i have joined mylot, i find myself on here a lot and could be the beginning of an addiction. i am thinking about quitting mylot (not just yet) and if i did, i wouldnt go on the internet so much anymore.
