A couple years ago a group of my friends all started having lingerie parties. It was a blast! We'd take turns hosting them, and plan our purchases to help the hostess get her goodies without breaking our own budgets. I got like $300 in free lingerie with my party.
I think I'd love going to jewelry parties, since I have a soft spot for jewelry. I don't hostess them at my house, though, since it's too small. I used a friend's house for my lingerie party (I provided all the food and stuff).

a jewelry party at my house wouldn't be such a great idea..all my friends are as broke as I am..lol..but my other parties have all been successful..I've had parties for things like television shows we all watch "Flavor of Love" " I Love New York"...whenever someone would swear or kiss, everyone had to take a shot..I've had parties for Wrestlemania and different boxing matches..I even had a Princess Party for my friends and I's little sisters..that basically consisted of them watching princess movies and eating cake during an elaborate tea party..we've had a good time..

A shot every time someone swore or kissed. I'd be in your bathroom sick in no time lol

I have had quite a few home parties over the years, but I always feel guilty because I have heard people at them talking and a lot of them only buy because they feel they should buy something...that makes me feel awful...

Well I can see why that would make you feel awful but I really think if those people didnt want to purchase something they wouldn't have come in the first place. I think people just need to feel like they have an excuse for purchasing something I wouldn't take it to seriously
